SUPPORTING THE CORK COMMUNITY and WORLDWIDE HUMANITARIAN INITIATIVES

Rotary is a global network of more than 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.

SOLVING PROBLEMS WITH COMMITMENT AND VISION

We seek out and serve deserving causes in our community

Cork Bishopstown Rotary Club is a supporter of many local charities and of local schools and senior citizens.

Our annual Rotary Tree of Remembrance, which is a collaborative activity by the Cork Bishopstown Rotary and the Cork Rotary club; raised very significant amounts of money for:

  • Marymount Hospice

  • Westgate Foundation

  • Bru Columbanus

  • ARC Cancer Support

  • Meals on Wheels

  • Wilton Park House

  • Cork Stroke Support

  • and many more.

Each Christmas our work is greatly helped by the efforts of Cork Corporation and Hegarty’s Builders, by them providing the physical structure and temporary building in Cork’s St. Patrick Street for the full 3 week period.
